We require at least 48 hours' notice to cancel or move a lesson. Lessons cancelled with less than 48 hours' notice may be charged at the full lesson fee.
Unused prepaid lesson hours can be refunded when requested with reasonable notice. Lessons already taken, late cancellations and confirmed test-day bookings are not refundable.
Block bookings must be used by the named learner and can be rescheduled with 48 hours' notice. Any refund is calculated against unused hours at the standard lesson rate.
Use of the car for a practical test is charged separately at the agreed test-day rate and usually includes a warm-up lesson before the test. DVSA test fees are paid separately to the DVSA.

The DVSA average is around 45 hours of professional tuition plus 22 hours of private practice. However, everyone is different - some students need fewer lessons, some need more. We'll give you an honest assessment after your first few lessons.
No - you can start practical lessons at any time. You will, however, need a valid theory test pass certificate before you can book your practical driving test with the DVSA. We recommend working on your theory alongside your lessons.
